Shelly Galligan is a consummate professional who is an expert at her craft. The past couple years, I have had the pleasure of working with Shelly for various high-line projects and I can say with confidence that she is a highly experienced, motivated and responsible individual who holds herself to the highest USCG standards.

As the Executive Vice President of Investigations for MVIntel, I had hired Shelly in 2016 to assist us in locating and transporting a 42-foot Sailing Catarmaran (valued at $320,000) from Panama to South Florida which required Shelly to travel to Panama by way of Costa Rica in order to retrieve the vessel. Upon arriving and discovering that the vessel was not seaworthy, Shelly overcame all obstacles large and small, which required her to spend an additional 30 days coordinating with mechanics, marinas, electricians, ordering parts, and utilizing every possible resource the locals had to offer to get the vessel cleaned, repaired and ready for the destination back to the United States.

Had it not been for Shelly’s experience, determination and most importantly, passion for this type of work, there is zero chance we could have completed this mission. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Shelly Galligan (or La Capitán as I like to call her) to anyone requiring her types of services. I cannot reiterate enough her professionalism, expertise and passion for her job as she is one of those rare individuals that is driven by her love of the seas rather than her need to earn a living.
